Maryland Ave. Plant City, Florida  33563 Toll Free: 800-940-3485   Local  813-752-3485   Fax  813-752-8064 E-mail us at sales@booneswholesalenursery.com   We are wholesale grower of woody ornamental plants for the nursery, landscape and retail outlet industries.  We employee 30 plus employees with full time employement who are dedicated in giving our customers quality products, professional advice, and on-time service.  We deliver our products throughout Florida, coastal Georgia and southeastern South Carolina.   The land (43 acres) on which Boone's Nursery sits is actually owned by Mrs. Jeane Fulford "Gramma" a retired school teacher.  If you were ever to visit the nursery you would probably see here out and about on the property, pulling weeds, spraying round-up or on her riding mower cutting the grass.  Mrs. Fulford's daughter Catherine "Faye" married Floyd Boone and had two children, Julie and Charlie.  Mrs. Faye Boone worked for the state of Florida until her recent retirement and is now the owner of Boone's Wholesale Nursery, Inc.  While Julie used to work here at Boone's she now lives in Kentucy with her husband and children.  Charlie remains, married himself with two children and is now the President and CEO of Boone's Wholesale Nursery, Inc. Charlie Boone      Veronica Zamora      Jim Ring         Jesus Terazzas           Faye Boone President           Office Manager       Sales Manager      Field Mangager          Owner  Boone's Wholesale was started in 1977 by Floyd Boone, a former TECO employee.  He started the nursery pretty much from scratch and worked it into what it has become today.  Floyd Boone worked closely with his son, Charlie, teaching him all about the nursery business.  Charlie literally grew up in the nursery, as it was his backyard. It was not Charlie's idea of a career at a young age, but his father knew what would be best.  Charlie as all young teenagers thought about being a "rock star".  Charlie is talented with his music but as time passed, it would become part of Charlie's blood to be involved in the nursery.  Charlie was very close with his father, who passed away on Fathers Day, 2005.  Charlie is now President and CEO and has now taken on the management of Boone's along with his mother Catherine Faye Boone owner of Boone's Wholesale Nursery, Inc..    Boone's has had several personel changes through-out the years.  Boone's is greatful to all of its past employees who have made significant contributions as the company has grown.  The current management staff consist of Veronica Zamora, office manager, in charge of payroll, account payable and accounts receivable.  She started with Boone's in April of 2007 and in that short time has proven to be a valuable asset to the company.  Then there is Jim Ring who handles sales and shipping for Boone's.  Jim started in Sept. 2003 and is dedicated to our customers and works diligently to meet their needs.   Lastly, but not least, there is Jesus "Chuy" Terrazas is our field manager.  Chuy is Charlie's right hand man in the field.  He started with the company in Oct. 2001, and has worked hard at learning the nursery business.  Chuy is in charge on avg. of about 20-25 employees in the fields.  He helps Charlie to oversee production schedules, fertilization, ticket pulls and truck loading of matrial be delivered.  He is also very instrumental in maintaing a very well organized and well maintained look to the nursery! As we are now into a new generation of Boones family at the helm, we are sure to see Charlie pass onto his children what his father has passed to him!
